Hey everyone,
We have not forgotten about you. As people get busy it always seems like the things you want to do always get put aside for the things you must do. Along those lines, I must announce that Jeff Rodriguez has decided to leave show. Jeff was essential over the past few years doing the behind the scenes editing of show, hosting and taking care of numerous other tasks, and replacing him will be difficult.
This year I am going to be taking on those responsibilities so please bear with me as I learn the ropes on how to run the podcast.
That being said, beyond our regularly occurring guests from season to season we recognize that there are many “new” faces which are able and probably willing to share opinions with the community, so I am asking that if you are interested in being a guest on the show; either regular or one time please contact me.
The plan for this year is to do one pre-season episode, and then a few during the build season followed by live “Gameday FIRSTcast chats during the events on Saturdays.
January is fast approaching and there is much movement in the FIRST community so it is time for another round of FIRSTcast. We will be starting recording episodes within the next month and they will continue through the championship. Stay tuned…..

Due to the length of the original recording, this episode has been split into two parts. This first past focuses on the last regionals and championship divisions. We’ve got a lengthy rundown of each division and give opinions on which robots to watch out for. I’d love to give you team numbers, but there are way too many to list here. Enjoy and thanks for listening!
